Yes those are the specs. But I also chose to underate the cells as when you buy a 7000 cell your only guaranteed that a certain percentage will be 7000mah. So by under rating them they will all come out well above the specs on the label.

Latest batch of high end lipo's back in stock today! Fresh off the assembly line and ready to go. 17.5's are also in stock but not a lot of them.

Thanks

Eric,

What is the difference between your 17.5 builds if you know a customer is going to run 1c carpet oval, or 2c sedan, or off road? I guess what I'm asking is there a difference on your end what you put together if you know the application is different.

Thanks.

If someone specifies what they will be running it in in the comments section then I will pull something I think is most applicable for their application.

Generally a 12th scale likes something a little more efficient for 8 minute race with a medium rotor. Oval guys like the lowest resistance they can find with a weaker rotor for the open classes and stronger rotor for spec classes. Off road and TC I try to find the strongest rotors I have for their application.

It mainly comes down to rotor specs for each class really. Which I always try to accommodate what the customer wants.

Thanks

No. None of the other companies are interested in selling their motors OEM so I dont carry them. Im not going to buy them from a hobby shop at retail. Just too expensive.

If you have some other brands of motors that you would like to send in for me to go through and put the best components together and build a motor I can do that for you.

That would be great. I've found I really like the reedy motors over the others I have tried, but they can always be better just like everything else. Do you want ceramic bearing to be worth it? I know they are better, but where can you truly say they are better?

Ceramic bearings will last longer and be smoother but I dont know if that will show up in on track performance. I have seen a slight benefit after putting them in on the dyno though. So in spec racing I suppose every little bit helps.

Looking for rollout suggestions for both 17.5 & 13.5 blinky 1/12 on a 100x40 track. Which rotor would you suggest as well?

Got my VTA pack and had a chance to run it Saturday. I don't have a back to back comparison with other batteries, but I can say the pack felt good throughout the race and did not fade.

I do not know about 13.5, but for 17.5 12th try around 98mm with 20 degrees of timing. Stock rotor.

For 17.5 try a 100 rollout to start. With 13.5 around a 3.30. Stock rotor is what I have been running.

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback!

I think a small flat rate box is 16 or 17.00. I can fit up to 3 motors in one box when wrapping them safely in bubble wrap or foam. Batteies will only fit 2 in a small FR Box.

No worries EA. I sent you an email about the same, but do you think you will have 13.5 D3.5s back in stock here soon? Thanks for any update you can provide!
