Hey ea

What feedback have you been getting about these new motors? How do they compare with the d3's and the revtech's for tc?
Cheers

So far everyone has raved about how good they are. Tons of rip off the corner and run cooler. You have to gear up a few teeth to get the straight speeds up but they still rip even with more gear on them.

The motor is killer. It pulls soooo hard coming out of the corners. You do need to gear it about 4 teeth higher than usual to keep up on the straight. If you were to do a drag race with this motor and another motor Its not going to be overall faster but it will pull harder to gap the other person. I can't say enough about the motor.

Default motor

4 teeth? what are you running boost or blinky? What are you geared at? I have one coming and i need to know where to start. I'm running blinky w/ a d3 and I'm already around 3.6-3.9 depending on track layout.

Thanks for the info

I only run blinky sorry. Yes 4 teeth. My gearing isn't important unless you are running at our track as size plays too much of a part. I am comparing my gearing based on a Thunder Power, Reedy, and Revtech motor. I was running an FDR of around the 3.3 area.

Bill,

No as of now they have not gotten any 21.5's in and those that I do get in would be by special order only. Are you using them in F1 class?

21.5 blinky is the F1 spec power for Roar, UF1, UF1H, TCS, and most clubs/tracks in the US of A
