Care to share it? I found 27.5mm/rev was perfect for EAs monster based stock but i need something with more rpm ive decided, will save me from faffing about trying gearing next time.

Well I was using the HPI 15-40's, and the gearing I used 100 spur, 29 pinion. that works out at 7.543. Bear in mind, my motor is rated upto 30,000rpm, so that maybe off a little for lower reving motors (I think thats correct, if not someone hear will correct me)

Thanks, thats just over 26mm/rev so sounds about right. Ive got a ballpark figure to start with now when i get around to ordering an EA roar from Mr Jolly.

Default EA - Thanks!

EA....

used two of your motors yesterday at our Toys for Tots race in an outdoor parking lot. TQ the stock sedan class and my TQ time was only .30 seconds behind the TQ time for Expert Stock. in the main i was the only one to do 22 laps. (rest of the field 21.)

at the end of the day... during the awards ceremony, i was bumped up to expert stock. thanks for the horsepower! as always the motors i got from you performed flawlessly.

thanks again!

- Chris

Thanks guys. I qualified 5th and ended up 2nd in 4 cell pro Mod. I spotted everybody a lap (bad start) at the start and came back to finish on the same lap in 2nd place.

I will have more of the new brushes this week I hope...they will be on the website and will update everyone here when they come in. I will also have PRS gears in stock today or tomorrow. I will also post that here as soon as the big brown truck arrives. For those that have not seen these they are the best gears out there!! Xray guys will love the 132 and 134 tooth spurs!! their website is www.precisionracingsystems.com if you want to check them out!!

Thanks!

EA

Wes.. thanks man! glad you had a good run too. actually as my own personal rule. i dont bump myself up. for the last 3 races at OC Circuit people have been sayin to go up to expert stock. yesterday, the race director bumped me up!
