EA-I am hurting bad on brushes!! Sounds like your getting them as fast as you can and using them just as fast. if you can spare any-please ship them to me.

I have never been a week out from the Champs with zero good brushes!!

I am building motors to practice and race with 1 and 3 yr old brushes that suck. I never threw them out-thnking i wold give them to a novice someday....whew-good thing i kept them. I guess that makes me the novice!!

its a done deal... went out either thursday for friday, i forgot which.

on another note, any idea on the time frame on the batteries? i am trying to get prepared for the Novak race in January, and need some fresh cells.

motors are awesome, as always! the track we run at now is kinda small, narrow lanes, tight. the monster still best choice? i have never ran a ROAR stock...

the wildest extra class i have run in a while here is the 19T 4wd, Nascar body... laps are less than 4.5 seconds!!!!

BRUSHES
Q) How much better are your brushes compaired to 767??
Q) How much better are your brushes compaired to putnam grn/blue

Are they full face or cut in some way

And do you think i ask to many Questions:eek:

TryHard 11-22-2004 02:26 AM

yeah thats a good question, wondering about brushes for my ROAR.... Ran it for the first time at the first round of the british indoor winter series, and what can I say... It was awesome! absolutely one of the fastest cars down the straight, with awesome rip out the turns. not bad for a motor which went up to 30,000 rpm :D :D Much better than my "home-tuned" monster...
Didn't do too well mind, had too many mistakes/problems in Q and only got one clean run in the final round. still good enough for 4th in the c, but B-final is a distinct possibility next time round... maybe even low A (if I'm lucky).
I;m jsut worried when it comes to skim it (all I needed to do all day was run a comm stick over it, such was the lack of wear... maybe as a consequence of lack of track time though), as I'm not sure my lathe is properly set-up, in that it seems to put light serrations into the comm!!! I lost one Orion armature trying ot get thoose out.... Damm me for taking it apart to clean it

Anyway, did have some bad news regarding the BIWS, but me and colin have been discussing it, and trying to get it sorted. actually that reminds me has darren contacted you yet colin? I sent another message, but if not I'll chat to him next weekend at the second round of the Ashby BRM series.

Anyway, thanks for the awesome motor Eric (and the excellent service colin), I just need some more brushes and stickers... (two new bodyshells ;) )

Colin told me 767s. He tried the Putnam green/blues and nearly melted it. Ditto on the performance reckoning. Using a ROAR indoors is plausible as well, though Colin originally didn't think so. Son got 1st in C final and B is a possibility, blah, blah....

I have a question about the EA Motors. How should I be gearing a Roar Stock compared to the Monster stock lower or higher? Oh yeah keep up the good work another win at MSA Saturday night liked almost 70 laps this time with your motors. Thanks Michael
