The runtime is outrageous EA. I tried to dump them in mod 12th with a 9x2 and couldnt. I even had two or three runtime zapping crashes and still ripping for 8-minutes. THey were so good I made one a stock pack for Sunday (I was running 5 and 6-month old packs in stock 12th). Fastest lap to last lap was only 0.3 differnce.

Default WOW...Dyno Results

Here are 3 dyno results from a new C2, a new KD-19 Turn and a new Money Checkpoint 19 turn.

C2

RPM Torque Watt EF Amps
24049 8.0 144 79 25.8
23382 9.0 157 78 28.3
22762 10.0 170 77 31.0
22169 11.0 182 77 33.3
21549 12.0 194 76 35.9
21018 13.0 209 75 38.7

CP Money 19 Turn

23478 8.0 140 80 24.6
22915 9.0 154 81 27.1
22216 10.0 166 79 29.8
21670 11.0 178 78 32.4
20970 12.0 187 75 35.1
20459 13.0 199 74 38.1

KD-19 Turn

28429 8.0 170 75 32.3
27653 9.0 185 74 35.3
26637 10.0 200 75 37.9
25070 11.0 206 75 40.0
23877 12.0 214 73 43.0
22832 13.0 223 74 46.7

As you can see the KD-19 has a LOT more RPM and Wattage. But it also pulls more amps and uses more batteries. I think this will be THE 19 turn motor to have in your car this year!!

Anyone else noticed that the C027 you have to gear Up, and the KD you gear down.... looks like similar ratios to run between both motors... despite the different classes.
Anyone else tell I'm having a boring day?

Eric, i notice you said that the KG pull more amps are you using the CE Dyno? because on that dyno the amps is preset so when you said the KG pull more amps i was thinking that you were using a different Dyno.

He is using torque steps not amp steps on the CE dyno.

you can do the steps by volts, amps, or torque...

Theoretically a motor with more rpm at a given torque is the better motor...

Thank you for the info, i never tried any other setting than the amp, so this is the way you check for the better motor by using the torque setting? i always thought that the higher the watts at a set amp is what you should look for say in a stock motor, i guess you learn something new every day from different point of view.

Ramyuras,

I have been doing everything in torque steps as it seems to be a more constant number to dyno with. It makes it easier to compare motors as well. I can dyno those same three motors in amp steps later and post those results if I get time.

Either type of steps will work....Its all it what you learn to inerpret and apply it to the track.

There is where i need to get to apply what i see on the dyno to the track and how to gear accordingly.
