Default Batteries

Just a reminder that the IB cells are on the site for sale now. Ive got some killer Team packs on there 1.175+ at 35 amps. Those would be roughly a 1.190+ at 30 amps!

Check em out!!

Are these cells have to be discharged at 35 amps to get all the performance out of them. How long have they been legal?

Eric,
I have a question about the XXX Trinity brushes. I know that you are supposed to be able to run them for a longer period of time, my question is do you need to put the serations back in the brushes after you cut the comm? Or do you just run them as a full face brush after the wear off? I've also been hearing of some people drilling a hole in these brushes also?

No they dont have to be but I think that the 35 amp discharge rate is more accurate to how the cells actually get discharged in a car. It also helps weed out weaker cells.

They are not Roar legal yet but SHOULD be Jan 1st. Check with your local track if you plan on racing them.

You dont have to reserrate them unless you want. The hole will do about the same thing. It gives the brush more edges for the current to flow across. But they don run better after they have been run on the track 3-4 runs and are fully seated. Its very very hard to get a new set broke in all the way on the motor break in.

EA....... Thanks man! The batts were good as always. I never had less than 60 seconds of runtime left afterwards with a 7x1. Traction wasn't super high, but still a nice cushion.

Nope-I am not sorry to say. I was supposed to do the Tamiya Nats this summer-but i bagged those plans. Staying 100% on carpet/foamies the rest of this year.

I wold love to hang out down there again, though.

oh-btw-youve been to the Gate-all new drivers stand-dbl. deep, railing and whicked graphics on it, all walls and ceilings painted and floor is being leveled out and carpet will be relayed late this week. Convince the FL crew to come up again for the Halloween Classic and Champs warm-ups!! The joint looks amazing
