Hi EA - Ran your motors for the first time at the TCS race this last weekend. Did not have a clean run in either of my qualifiers so started second in the GT-2 B-Main. Got punted on the start and dropped back to tenth. However, the HP from my EA motor allowed me to drive my way back up to second at the end. Your motors are awesome. I'm glad my TAOB team mates pushed me to try your motors.

Eric, another Q about shimming again... more new arms are coming my way (soon hopefully eh colin ).

I've been back over previous posts about it, but can't really figure it out properly... last time i tried it i compared it with a new monster i had, i think the ROAR arm took 2 0.2 and 1 0.1 shim onthe stack end to get it right! Well my interpritation of right at least... i'm thinking i might be slightly wrong there

Anyway, when you say let the arm centre, do you shim it so it remains centred, but allowing for a bit of down pull?

Btw tried a pair of the new F-lines you sent Colin this weekend, seems to me they are back to what they should have be 5 runs and the serrations are still there.... as is the power I'm pretty sure they are what allowed me to (finally) gear two teeth higher than a mate of mine .... rest of the day was rubbish though... 8th or so in the D.. and at my home track too. I'm rapidly thinking ashby is becoming my Bogey track

Regards
Ed

i know i aint Eric but.....if the brushes have silverish shunts they will most likely be 767's, if they have a goldish coloured shunt thenthey will be F-lines (i think, not likely though)

i'd only need to be getting a L shirt/t-shirt, i feel good now

The F-lines also have an F stamped on the end where the lead comes out of the brush.

They are 767's. The F lines I have just started using again last week. So far so Good. So if any of you guys get motors with the F lines in them please leave some feedback here. I want to make sure there are no problems with them again!!
