...I ran out of gas. I, I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake. A terrible flood. Locusts. IT WASN'T MY FAULT, I SWEAR TO GOD.

I might have it together by Monday I'm TERRIBLY finicky about wiring. Usually takes me a few days to learn a new chassis.

Okay, here we go. I'm not overly pleased with the wiring around the Receiver. I'm debating snipping all the ends and starting over. I was trying to leave a little extra room so I could pull the speedo plug to tune it. Got kinda ugly in that area. I dunno. I spent a LOT of time sliding and nudging things around so it would balance right on the money.

Another hour or two of fiddling and finalizing, and I'll hit the track with it (hopefully tonite).

Setup advice?

I've got excellent ability to fool with rear end width (which I like). I'd say 167-172mm, gonna start wide, pack forward.

Tube lube?
Center shock oil spring?
Front springs?

If the car is a tad pushy with pack forward, Pink Magenta setup, what's the first thing you generally do to get the car to rotate quicker?

You ever run push control and drag brake?

I don't ever mess with rear end width, I just make it between 171 and 172.

The tube lube that is In it is kyosho 15000 diff grease, that all I've been running lately. The center shock spring the 411175, it is 10lbs, that is also all I've been running lately. Front springs are ae 020, that all I ever run.

If I were to need more steering I would first try the stock center spring I think it's the 14lb one but its actually 12. Next I would go to blue ae side springs, then, more castor. Let me know how it works out!

I think you be happy just the way it is honestly though.

In mod push brake and drag but I haven't with anything slower.

I like it. Tracks laser straight. feels good going in and coming out. ran some packs, put 275 practice laps on it tonight. Still not a mark on the body. That's generally a good sign for me. Car works good.

I think I already trashed my liFe reciever pack.... 'DOH. I ran it a few times without charging it... and now it doesn't want to charge. I was just wanting to get a feel for it's limits, not kill the little guy. Charges for about 8 seconds and I get a break connection error message on the Quattro. I just kept hitting it, back to back to back. I think about 150 times in, it started to charge and took 200mah. I'm in no mood to spend 2 hours wiring up another one and swapping them out. *ugh*

I'll have to see how it holds up if I religiously run it for 9 minutes or less and charge it again.

Now, Just need a decent tekin setup for 10.5 on a 48x100 flowing track.
