It goes into the corner decent then pushes like a freight train on the way out. Have to completely lift to get it around. I finally did get it to come around tight but I was doping full front with a solid 1 degree of front camber and it would lift both inside tires making tight turns -all but undriveable. It was the fastest with this but I was puckered the whole run.
Thanks for the help.

20k/30k sounds heavy. lately i have been using 5k/15k. i believe that lifting the inside wheel points to needing less tube damping.
since all serpent springs are black, you might try AE black for inline or AE silver if you have a transverse battery.

also, if i have too much droop then the front/rear weight shift will make a difference between steering on power and off power.

Thanks guys - some good ideas to try. We run 13.5 at my local track and I got the bright idea I was going to run 17.5 at Snowbirds. I guess it was too much to tackle especially with having such limited test time before going.

Thumbs up New OPC12B

I am now the proud owner of a new OnPoint 12th scale car

Wow is this a nice ride or what
Thought it would be more or less the same as my R5 inline, but its much more than a black R5 ...

OPC12 vs: R5
OPC +2% front weight bias
OPC 3mm longer wb

Thanks again Alston for the sweet deal on a kit you never got around to building

try some kyosho plazma plastic in the front end, RobertK suggested the links, but it looks like the front end parts on the same tree are usable.
the only issue is i needed to grind the lower arm inserts a little. (an extra set of r5 inserts were the victims)

i suppose reaming the lower arm would be a cleaner solution.

The new AE 5.2 lower arms don't use inserts
They are countersunk on the outside for ease of adjustment, and better alignment

The stability, and agility of the OPC over the R5, is surprising
I did not expect that

I club race with Peter up here in Seattle and he is really fast with his on point cars. He is pretty new to them overall. So he will be even faster with them shortly. If you buy one you'll love the quality. I know I do.

Have you posted pictures yet of your ride. I would like to see some. Your cars always look so cool.
