I know about them because I've been racing in the state of Florida since 1986. I remember when Paul Davis left Redline because suddenly every fast guy (except for Paul Wynn for obvious reasons) regarless of whether it was oval at Lake Whipporwill or on-road with the Florida State Series was running Strike Force motors. They were hot, back in the day.

I got to test out the new WGT at KRaceway yesterday. Not bad for the first time on the track.

How does this Composite WGT look like? Similar to anything other or completely different?

The only thing similar is the frontend- Associated. This is an old orginal design that ran in 1999 at the carpet nationals at Minregg. It also ran three state races afterwards.I won every B main with this car.And for me that's something. There is a picture of the orginal car (235mm/wide car) on another forum- I don't know how to post pictures. Anyway after talking with them today there will be some changes made. I will race the present car at the next state race(FSEARA).We are building one other car out of the spare parts- but the tweeking system will be different.

So you're using one of the old CC Predator rear designs with the Associated front? I like it already.

No the car was never designed by them. There were possibly three of these car ever designed (235mm). There is one car out there with a similar design- because it was copied from this one( go to RJSpeed.com )

I remember having the Lynx with the link rear suspension with a rear swaybar and the tube crossbar front end. It was a very trick car for the time and I did very well with it.

Looking forward to seeing their new car!

The only thing I see on their site besides legends and drag cars is the 3.2 sport. If it looks anything like that, not too many people are going to want one.

My first pan car was a Predator Lynx, great car but the Lynx II was awesome and one car I regret selling. Can't wait to see them come back, I just bought a CRC Gen X because I missed not having a pan car.
