Hey John. I got hit at the track and a joint broke on my pack. It's pretty clean, it just sort of popped off like a turnbuckle. I know I could solder it back myself, but would you guys rather have me send it in so you can do your uber cool soldering thing to it? And if you're in a good mood, maybe switch it out for a 3700?

Rumor control..... Rumor has it that I am quitting Fusion. This rumor is not true. Just to clarify some things though. I will be reducing my time at the office. I will still be available to answer tech questions etc.... I am still going to be managing the team and handling my regular duties with respect to customer accounts. So to all those that are saying that I am quitting you now know the real story.

John

John,

Thanks for keeping us all updated. I had not heard that rumour (takes a little longer to get to the left coast) but I'm glad that it is not true.

I hope that whatever else it is that you will be doing with the extra time you have will go well for you. hopefully it is something as entertaining as competetive beer drinking or maybe proof reading for adult publications that sort of thing.

Take care,

Chris

Default q's for john

Hi John

I have received my new 3700's and noticed when charging that they peak at 3856 mah at 95 degrees.

Does this mean I can set the threshold higher so they are peaking closer to 122/125degree without damage or should i leave it alone.

if they peak below 115 f then you need to adjust the delta or peak volts to get them warmer.

My wife is kicking me out to the garage which gets kind of hot during the day. How hot is too hot of a work area to keep my batteries stored? It can get to the upper 90's in a garage in Texas if not warmer. I was considering buying a used wine cooler to house my batteries but moisture would be a concern.
