I was just wondering whether there is a more local distributor here in New Zealand. I would really like to give a few packs. Can anyone advise me?

Has anyone had any problems with the mah going into the pack going down considerabley? I always discharge to zero on a equilizing tray. I cool the packs as they charge or discharge.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. The packs are only like 4 months old.

I don't believe you should be cooling at all while charging or discharging -JB

Its better for your paks if you let them cool natrually . And dont use a fan to cool at charging , inner and outer temp diffrences on a cell will cause your MAh to decrease .. Let them sit for a week so the cells can revive them selfs and equalize them before you charge them .. This shoud help you out ...

I have had the same problem, lost a lot of runtime, IR went up and mah came down, I only use to run my cells once a week and let them cool naturaly, also equalized to 0.9v just before the next weeks charge.

I have now started equalizing down to 0.1 v just before charging and the packs havent lost any more power so it seems it is better to equalize all the way down and then charge.

what I am now keen on knowing is whether it is good or bad to keep the cells on a cooling tray while charging?

thanks

Cooling your batteries while charging will make the IR increase, especially by blowing air over them. So.... I don't reccomend it .

I dont cool the packs with a fan. My friends trailer I pit in has an AC on it. I guess I dont really cool them up close they are just in a cool temp trailer. I guess its kinda the same. I do equilize right when i get the track and then charge them up. I cant figure them out.
