IMJONAH to answer your question your experiment should show which battery is better but you have variables in your test. Here is what I think on your experiment scenario..... first if you have two batteries with tha same out put voltage under load than the maximum velocity will be the same provided the motor is a constant and not a variable. Having said that here is a possible out come. although both batteries have the same loaded output voltage the one with the least amount of internal resistance will be quicker to achieve max velocity. The reason is that torque is generated by current flow through the motor. While voltage is a piece of the puzzle here it is the amount of current that determines how saturated the windings become thus generating torque. So all things are not exactly equal. As far as why better batteries should be more punchy there are two reasons. First usually batteries with higher voltages also have lower internal resistances. Less resistance means more current= more torq=more accelration. Second more voltage equals the ability to have more rpms = the ability to gear for more mechanical advantage= more rip. Always remember that current and voltage are always related. I like to use the water hose analogy when describing this.... current equals the water volume from the hose and voltage = the water pressure. high pressure with no volume will do little work. High volume with no pressure will do little work. High pressure with high volume will do lotsa work. lotsa work = lotsa horsepower.

I hope this helped to explain some things.

John i like the water hose think, it's like lota talk = no action
and lota action = no talk, so what your saying is fusion is lota action = win.

What up Mr. Robinson,

I think you made a mistake..it was 5 cars in the A-main in stock at the nats!.. Dave Bowser, Michael Abraira, Furman Walker, Peter Robinson (who is that guy?) and Weylin Rose. Not too bad..50% of the main ran Fusion Batteries. I think that alone speaks volumes about the product.

John-Thank you.

Default no real answers?

"I hope this helped to explain some things. "

Thanks but No, it doesn't answer my question. But thats ok, I have not found a single Battery matcher or motor tuner who will provide real numbers.

Acceleration is measured in meters per second per second not punch, more punch, lots more punch not average volts or run time.
