i have receved some drop off because of dead shorting but that is to be expected but nothing to crazy and the batts are still very strong. i would say like John bring down your cells to .01 and retest your results

Ive only run these packs 5 times each now (plus the initial cycle and the last cycle so thats 7 times total). on the last cycle I get av/voltage 7.12 with runtime round 540 secs. One pack however still has a runtime of just over 600 secs with an av/V of 7.18 and this one has run just as many times as the others.

I also only run my bats once per week, 2 practice packs before racing starts and then 4 packs for racing. Today I didnít go racing thatís why I decided to cycle the packs.

I never discharge after racing and equalize cells before I charge, using the novak smart tray and equalizing to 0.9v per cell.

is there something Iím doing wrong or is it normal for cells to drop off so quickly?
I dont have one of those units, but try to get a discharge rate of 20A so we can compare apples to apples with the original ratings.

Additionally, I would say that your cells are building a memory. I would suggest running them down flat after you use them. Store them deadshorted. (Am I allowed to say that?)

Default low runtime

So I set the novak tray to equilize at 0.1. Here is the output from my turbo for one of the packs. Ave volts is up from the last cycle but runtime is a bit down. also when the cells were new I was getting round 7.2 volts on the 400 seconds mark. now im at 7.05. all this said. these packs are still better than new packs with similar numbers on the label from a difirent provider and they still kick butt.

Normally I just discharge down to 5.4 volts when I'm done for the day. Then right before I charge them the next race day I put them on my tray untill the lights go out. I've had pretty much the same amoutn of runtime compared to when they were brand new. It's been working great for me.

Probably 1-1.5 amps to be safe. probably should keep the cutoff fairly low too. I've charged at 2 amps if I'm in a rush though.

I will charge them at 1.5 amps. Thanks! I already love the sub-c cells now we'll see how the Mini T cells fare....

That would be sweet. Just have this massive bag full of batteries, weighing in at a ton lol.
