Bill some people say not to cycle them and others say to. I personally liked how the packs ran after my 5th run or so.. Seemed like they had more punch

hello john,
i am a 1:12 standart (6 cell) racer in germany,
i use in that time your fusion team selektion packs ( not the super team packs ) i have buy in germany, and i will say that are the best power i have in my car.
now i have tested the new gp3700 packs, with higher runtime
and higher volt output, but i can say they are not the same power as your 3300 packs.
did you change in the future to the 3700er cells???

Default why such low runtime and volts

Iíve got 6 packs that were 1.75+ when I bought them. First time out on my turbo35 they all showed runtime of over 600secs with a av/voltage round 7.2 at discharge rate of 20A cutoff at 5.4V, I charge at 5.0A with a dct at .03

Ive only run these packs 5 times each now (plus the initial cycle and the last cycle so thats 7 times total). on the last cycle I get av/voltage 7.12 with runtime round 540 secs. One pack however still has a runtime of just over 600 secs with an av/V of 7.18 and this one has run just as many times as the others.

I also only run my bats once per week, 2 practice packs before racing starts and then 4 packs for racing. Today I didnít go racing thatís why I decided to cycle the packs.

I never discharge after racing and equalize cells before I charge, using the novak smart tray and equalizing to 0.9v per cell.

is there something Iím doing wrong or is it normal for cells to drop off so quickly?

Well got to run my 1st race with these fusion paks and . WOW !! very nice rip and power throught my qualifying and main .. Made the A main in 19t and even got to meet another team mate BLAKE from pismo beach .. These batteries did give me some outragous power without even cycling them 1st . just charge and go ... hopefully my results will be better then today at our next race of the oc circut sedan super series . I know im looking foward to it ... Thanks Fusion .....

Sa-Racer,
Looks like you need to equalize your packs to a lower voltage on your smart tray. I would say equalize to 0.1 right before you charge them. I think you will get better results.

cheers.

No it is not normal for your cells to fall off like that. Examine your battery maintenance routine very carefully.

Any one else on this thread having the same issues. Also if you have some input for Sa- lets hear it.
