Speedo
The more you run them the better they will get. I run 5 min. mains and at the 4 min. mark that when i beat the competition. two weeks ago I set my local tracks new lap record of 67 laps. My 58th lapwas as quick as my 5th lap. Great punch and run time.

I charge at 4.5 to 5 amps. I try to no re peak to much. I try to time it so my pack comes off the charger just before race time. I feel I get max punch and runtime that way.I see a lot less heat that way. Hope I could help.

jbennet, I always charge at 5 amps and repeak at 5 amps with about 10-15 minutes before my run. This allows some time for the pack to settle before the race and seems to net the most voltage runtime combination for modified. For stock racing i'd probably repeak about 5 minutes before it's time to hit the track.

I'm mostly an off-road racer, but I also do some on-road racing and have for almost 20 years. I can honestly say that fusion batteries have been the best packs to date i've ever gotten for consitency, repeatability and accuracy in the numbers on the label, vs what you really get! Alot of batteries seem to show good numbers, but just seem a little less impressive then the "label"....NOT FUSION!

I also just finished 2nd at the Maxys Challenge race in the Monster truck class using a Fusion receiver battery pack, which performed flawlessly! This is after missing the first lap and a half because of a broken part during warm up......Monster trucks are hard on reciever batteries, but they held up well.......Thanks, Jim

Default Hello

Hello to all from Indianapolis! First time on this site. I am as well a recent Fusion driver. So far so good, as far as the packs go. I only run off-road, 2 wheel mod. The packs have been performing perfectly!!! I would like to thank Fusion Batteries for sponsoring our upcoming Winterfest Race. It looks like we are going to have about 170 stock drivers and 100 or so Mod drivers from all over the nation. I would like to invite everyone to come race or atleast watch!! Some of the names include Jesse Robbers, Al Horne, Brent Theilke from AE, Ryan Mayfield, Brian Handwork and several other national guys. Should be a great time!! Check out our website....www.planetrcraceway.com. By the way...the race is December 11th and 12th with open practice on the 10th.

Any other Team Fusion drivers attending?
Feel free to stop by my pits if you have any questions or want to check out these great batteries.
Happy Racing!
Hey Mike. I was going to go down, but had to cancel out due to family and work priorities. I've been down each of the last 2 years to the open wheeler. Heck of a race. I think we raced each other last year in Mod Truck.

Anyway... good luck. Bring home a stock and mod truck championship for Fusion!

I always charge at 6 amps, mainly becuase lately we are running 19t and I want that little bit of extra punch. I also discharge at 30 amps after each race day. Every weekend the packs do great and blow away tons of people. Some people have thought my motor was illegal when i pass them down the straight. Although, my 19t is just a 19t that i cut and put brushes on, nothing special.

Same here I got motor teched at the region1 trophy event & found out that I got a hand picked motor from trinity which they often keep after the race. WSo I am really gonna take good care of it since it's a legal stock motor & it's giving me some awesome power.
