Ran my fusion packs for the first time at my local club last Saturday in Mod TC. I'm very impressed so far.

I cycled the packs through 1 time before racing and the numbers I got were not as impressive as I'd liked... but I chalked that up to the first cycle and heck its just numbers anyway. When I went to the track I was very pleased.

The batteries ran VERY strong all race. I really noticed hardly any fade throughout the 5 minutes... and MUCH less in comparison to the other packs I'd been running. I expected that I had plenty of run left... but on the turbo 35 there were about 40 seconds left. This is actually what impressed me most. The packs run like a 'fresh' pack all the way up until they dump. They do fall VERY fast, which makes for a predictable battery.

Oh yeah... result was Qual 3rd/ Finish 1st A main.

Thanks for the great packs John.

I just got a club pack and the runtime is great. I ran about 2 minutes pratice, then a five min race and when i discharged the rest of it there was still plenty left. There was practically no fade either. very nice packs. I too got first in the A-main with them

Hey Tom. Huntington is growing quick.
I'm running Mod. Stock class is jam packed, but if I had another Xray I'd run it too!

I'll email you details about the track and schedule... or you might find something on the new forum... ( http://tricitiesrc.proboards38.com/index.cgi )

John,

How much would it cost to send a couple of packs to the UK for us to try?

Just a couple of in-line 6's. I guess they would easily fit in one of the USPS fixed-rate envelopes?
