you should be able to charge them as high as 6 amps with no trouble. the packs will run just fine without cycling them. You should discharge them first before charging them. Use a turbo 35 or something like it to get the batteries to 0.9v per cell then charge them as usual. when you store them discharge them to 0.9v per cell and put them away. If you arent going to use them for more than a week put about 5 mins of charge back into them before you store them. This will help them keep their runtime up.

Heat sink bars?
 

Do you guys sell just the battery bars by themselves?

No we do not sell the bars seperately. We would not want someone to build a pack with them claiming it was our build.

Hey J240z, I have a source that you can get those bars but it will
cost you more than the reg bars.

The bars are patented so you may get bars just not ones with heat sinks on them.

hey, just a dumb question, but i was wondering what all the settings are to charge my 3300's on a peak charger. They are 1.1's with 390 runtimes.

There are only a couple of settings you need to look at. First is the charge rate or current. Depending on your type of racing you will want to charge between 4.5 and 6 amps. The next setting that you need to know about is the peak detection fall back voltage or delta peak. If your charger has an adjustment for this setting you should set it to 0.03 volts or 30mv. Those were numbers if your charger does the delta by total pack voltage. If your charger measures by cell voltage then 5 mv would be good. Assuming you are chaRGING NI-MH you should be using the linear mode if you have it. The only other settings that may be of interest is trickle charge, flex charge, and long lock out. If you have long lock out it is used for charging batteries that were mostly dead, it is used to keep the charger from false peaking early. Trickle charge does exactly as its name implies. You would want to turn this feature off. Flex charging is for old tired batteries that might benefit from having the built up crystalline structures broken down thereby giving back some of their intial performance. I hope this helps.
