John, I'm new to RC have OK packs.

I just ordered 2 Worlds Fusion packs to race with. Your adds seamed really interesting and I like the fact that the bars can pull heat from the battery core.

My questions is...
What should I charge these at? Should I use my Novak discharge tray after every run with them?
How many times a day can I use them? Racing they will be used at least once, and maybe twice.

Why do you not offer any Deans connectors on the high end batteries? I'm running stock, and soldering the battery in is more of a PITA for me. Having to get a $4.00 connector after spending $100 on a pack is a pain.

EvoIII,

I'm not John, but I can help you. Charge your packs at 4.5 - 5 amps...no higher. Fusion packs like a bit lower charge rates than other batteries. Discharge them to 5.40 volts at 30 amps with either a turbo 35/gfx or some other discharger like the Integy Booster 30. Then equalize them to .9 v per cell on your novak tray. You can use them 3 to 4 times a day with no problem, they get better after a couple runs. Just make sure they are fully cooled down before their next charge. At least an hour is required for that.

From what I know, Fusion does not include deans connectors with the high end packs because the great majority of racers that buy high end packs such as those do not use connectors at all.

Fusion batteries to make a major addition to our team. Can you guess who it is???? We will make the announcement within 72 hours. The only clue will be that it is a very accomplished R/C racer. This driver has competed at every level from club racing to World championships.
