I have been very happy with my FUSION 4200's. Strong power throughout the entire run!

At the BRL race in October I ran one of the FUSION 4200 packs at least 3 times a day - two days in a row. NO PROBLEM!

I only had one of the FUSION 4200 packs at that time. I was rotating it with two FUSION IB4200 packs.

Hey guys, I'm in the market for a wholesale change on all of my packs. I've been poking around looking for good deals from matchers and came accross the fusion website. I was awestruck at how inexpensive the new 4200 packs were. Once Christmas is over (i.e. how many packs do I get for christmas) I'll be putting in an order for a bunch of new packs, more than likely I'll be buying 8. I noticed the nice "build your own package" feature on the site and that's when I noticed the great price. Club level 4200's came out to 28$ per pack and the team packs (including the pre-built option) came out to only 35$ a pack! WOW! It seemed to good to be true, so I headed over here to find a thread on these packs. I always know you on-road guys are on the cutting edge of batteries, so I thought I'd read some feedback here. Well, I'm hooked now and I'll definitely be putting in an order for some new fusion packs. I do however have a few questions for John or anyone else that can offer some help.

1. I'm an off-road guy so I don't require near the performance from my packs as you on-road guys do.... but I still like very nice packs. With both the team packs and the club level packs closely priced (but still a significant savings with the club level packs) I wonder if I would benefit from the team packs? What is the new "linear amplified" patent that is included in the team packs but not the club level packs? Maybe John could expand on this and let us all know. If it is something that I could really benefit from, then I'd just assume to get the team packs.

2. When purchasing through the website, I noticed that the club level packs come automatically built and the team packs come built for an extra fee. That's not a problem for me, but the options are worded a bit differently between the two different packs. If you purchase the club level packs, you are asked for a battery configuration, but are only given the option of 'straight pack' or 'saddle pack'. When you get the team packs and opt to have them built for you, you are given these options: Side-by-side standard, side-by-side reversed, saddle pack standard, saddle pack reversed. I run side-by-side standard. Can I also get club level packs in the side-by-side standard configuration? Is that what is meant by 'straight pack'?

Anyways, that is it for now. I hope everyone enjoys their holiday and I eagerly await some answers to my questions.

You can't go wrong with Fusion packs! John is great at answering questions and Judy at the office is A one in support and sales. They back there batteries with the best support and product out there and at a price that is hard to beat!
Pay the extra for the pre-assembled batteries in the configuration you need and they are literally plug and play! or charge and race!

Just bought 9 packs a couple of weeks ago and finally got to race them last week, took a 4th in 1/12 scale and 6th in TC. The batteries definitely were not the reason for not taking first! Practice practice practice! Never came close to dumping all weekend.........

On the website they have some new sort of packs advertised.
They are "Linear Amplified"

Does anyone know what these are all about?

They don't have numbers posted on the website
