Yeah hopefully I will be able to keep up with you better next time. Your car had mad rip. I guess showing up at 6:30 when the races start at 7:00 is a bad idea.

FYI I was still running my Fusion 3800 last night, from the Novak race, still plenty of rip

Yeah I wish I would have been able to cycle the packs a couple extra times because they probably would have had a bit more punch. Thats not to say I wasnt impressed.

John,
What's the latest on these cells and how we should charge them, store them and discharge (if necessary).

Just got my packs today and the numbers look real good! I've got a week before I get to race them and was thinking of cycling them at least once.

STORAGE FIRST charge them about 15 mins at 5 AMPS or so. when you are ready to use them charge them for a about 10 minutes then discharge them. then tray them to 0.9 and then charge at 6 amps or so until about 130f. setting of about .03 should be close for delta voltage cut off. ( assuming 6 cell) .02 for 4 cell. after you are done racing discharge them to see what ya got left then charge when cool for storage. We have found these cells have a high self discharge rate. Do not take them below 0.9 for any length of time as they will lose runtime that you cant get back.

What rate should I discharge them at? Before I use them?

Thanks for the info...........

I would say at something near 20 amps. Remember we are only trying to wake them up not kill em with needless heat.

Dadgum Where is everybody???!!!! You guys should be looking at some of the latest cells. They are a really bang for the buck. Especially if you are in the market for 4200's on a budget.

Hey John I bought on of those 4200 's that you sell on your website with Fusion on the shrink wrap and when I charge them i can only get 3730 mah in them and my regular 3800's the can take up to 4300 mah??
am I doing something wrong?? Im also getting less runtime with your brand of 4200's , Im sending them to another battery matcher to have a closer look at them. I hope that they are not another battery re-wrapped. Let me know.

Why if you were having an issue with the cells didint ou let us first get a chance to see what your problem was. And secondly see if we could fix it or make you satified some other way. Perhaps a replacement. So far from your post I do not have enough information to make a possible diagnosis. I will tell you that if you werent happy the gang at fusion would have been very happy to correct anything that was not up to par. Please give some more info. Maybe I can help.
