Fusion doesnt play !!!!!!! I am glad you liked your packs. As for the stick pack ?'s charging at 6 is about the limit due to the materials used in the construction. and you got it right adjust the delt for the correct finish temp somewhere near 120.

Where are you guys getting these 1.20+ V packs? On the website, the only ones I see are the IB3800 Race 6 Cell 1.180+ 460+ Sec 3-Pack for only $124.99!

I'd like to get a little more voltage and can't seem to find any on the page.

Also, anyone know of any recent coupons??

lloks like they are out of the high voltage stuff at the moment. check their web site on
friday night. they usually update their inventory for the weekend. the 460+ cells willbe near to 1.20ish at a lower runtime just a thought.

I have been racing for 18 years. For the last 10 years I have bought batteries by calling a matcher and asking, "What do you have"?

Email Fusion, tell them what you are looking for and ask how much $$ it costs to get that.

Hey I have a quick question, would you guys recommend running my new pack a few times before I race them? I wanted to leave them untoched till race day but not sure if wouldn't perform as good as if it was the 3 run or so?? Thanks for any suggestions in advance... wow they have the IB3800 1.80+ volt 3 packs for 79.99!!! Thats unreal! But these higher volt packs are superb!!

P.S. Also what charger are you guys using to charge and discharge? Currently looking for a new one cause my current one only charges at 4amps, and I read for best volt to charge at 6 amps?

RDXracerboy, When at a big race with new packs I normally like to run them one time to be sure there are no problems with the pack and then leave them alone until the 1st round. There is nothing like those first handful of charges on a new pack.
Charger wise there are alot of good ones. If you can only afford one I wouldn't be real concerned with the discharge function. You can't charge and discharge at the same time. There are other ways to discharge other than with your charger. With that being said I prefer the smaller chargers like those by LRP. They save pit space and can still run your lathe if necessary. They only discharge at a 10amp rate like most small chargers, it just depends on what you need/want. You may also want to look a the service side of things. Who is near you and provides a good turn around time if you have to send it in. Good luck

I would look into the Team Orion Carbon faced charger. It's about the same as the LRP Pulsar in price and features, but can charge Li-Po batteries aswell. There also is the Intellipeak ICE, that charges the aforementioned aswell. For discharging, and battery maintenance I personally use a SpinTec discharger, and once complete use a Novak Smart tray to equalize the cells down to .3. This seems to be what has been working for many using the SpinTec product.

Is there any charger that charges at atleast 6.0 amps, and discharges at 30 amps? I would like something like that if it was availabe, just all in one, more convienient. But I will probably be purchasing the novak smart tray, and that sintech looks good.

The Competition Electronics Turbo 35bl or GFX are the only chargers that I know charge at 6.0 and discharge at 30amps.

Im thinking of just purchasing the DuraTrax IntelliPeak AC/DC Deluxe Pulse Charger because of the low price and the fact that it charges at 6.0 amps which is just what i want, and also purchasing the INDI Zero-Thirty 030 Discharge Board 30A ... would this be a good idea for IB3800's??
