You guys are killing me with the BIG FONT!

So I've been super busy as usual lately, but am catching up on e-mails and whatnot. We'll be getting the Surge site updated shortly with some new stuff.

Hope everyone have been tearing up the track!

Hey Gary. Whats up man. Those new IB3800's are awesome. I am having much success with them. Thank You..

I just finished building my new X-Ray T2. I have not driven it yet. But it sure looks impressive. Are you gonna get the new X-Ray or are you going to stick with the FK'05?

Oh man you got the T2 as well?? I'm so mad I got the FK05 so late. I think for now I'm going to stick to this one... I'll see how much staring at other racers cars makes me want one. I really do like some of the features of the new car though. Did it go together as smooth as the FK05?

The T2 is the best kit I have ever assembled in my 20 years of racing. It just goes together. Took me longer to sand the carbon fiber edged and polish the bulkheads than it did to assemble and I am very picky on how my racecars go together.

Oh man you got one too, Jack? I'm starting to feel all alone! It it true the differentials can be pulled out without taking the car apart?

Gary the car is sick. Yes..The diffs come out with 4 screws and everything is so much easier to work on.

8 screws to pull the layshaft out to get to the spur. I also didnt realize the car had externally adjustable diffs until after I built it. The craftsmanship on this thing is unreal. Only thing I dont like about the Xray is the springs come in 4 packs instead of pairs. (what a tiny complaint to have about a car)

Hopefully I'll be able to get to Stockton a few times before the nats. If not, lots of laps on Virtual RC over the next couple months.

Yeah, I find it helps with getting my concentration into that "zone" level.

You know, a while back I was thinking of buying that game. I heard from a bunch of people it's really good. Does it have real R/C cars and whatnot?

I bought an Xbox 360 a couple weeks ago and now that's got my attention. I wish they made it for that platform instead of the PC. 360 graphics are intense!

You dont even have to buy VRC, just download and go. It comes with 2 tracks, extra tracks will cost you though. You do have to buy the USB adapter if you want to use your transmitter.

You can run either 1/8 scale and 1/10 scale gas, and you can change different chassis and motors.

Hello!

Could you guys recommend for me a starting ratio for the Surge tuned 19T motor? Outdoor track, fairly large with long straights, but also 2 or 3 dead hairpins.

Ratio in final drive or mmp/rev is ok either way.

Your thoughts?

Ta
