Hey all, it's Jon Williams, co-founder of Surge. Been a long time since I've posted--very busy around here.

Just to update you guys on what's going on here at Surge, as Gary said, we're getting some really incredible performance out of our cells. We've brought an engineer from England on board with us who has been designing our zappers maximizing cell capacity and efficiency. The cell that Gary posted was a good example of what's to come from us. (In answer to the question of IR, we're seeing 2.2 - 2.5 on avg. for our highest cells.)

The company has been growing significantly in the past six months with sponsorship of several drivers. (BTW, all you sponsored guys, please post your comments/recommendations, etc. We want to hear from you!)

Besides getting *very* good voltage numbers for stock and 19T racers, our cells are really taking off in the runtime department. Many of our cells top off at 450+ runtime. So, for you guys out there who run 8 minute 12th scale and 5 minute touring with really low winds, these are the cells for you.

I've been running very successfully with my cells locally and plan on attending some of the larger races around our region in the coming year. You'll see Gary and I with our Surge banner. We'll keep you up to date on what races we'll be attending.

If you guys have any questions, feel free to post them here.

-jon

Hey Jon sounds great. Talked with Gary last night and he had alot of good things to say. Can't wait to get my new cells. IT is going to be fun promoting your cells. After talking with Gary a few times by phone and email I'm very happy with what I hear and see.

Brian

Thanks for the comments, Brian.

Yeah, things are going well around here. We're really trying to get things moving. We're really trying to promote our product because we feel we have an excellent cell process.

One recommendation for those running our cells is to cycle them one or two times before running them. We find that the voltage and stability of the cell increases further.

Jon was a little vague, so let me clarify - Stage5 is typically 2.1-2.3 AIR, Stage4 is typically 2.4-2.6, Stage3 2.5-2.7.

WOW THANKS

I'm going to be ordering my Surge batts pretty soon

BTW- with stage 5 AIR being that low, what kind of voltages are we to expect?

So I take it Stages 4 and 5 aren't available to the general racer....instead they are reserved for team members?
