Welcome to the new team members, finally going to get a weekend off next weekend, just in time for the start of cap tire racing at the high banks of Chatham R/C Speedway and the maiden voyage for the Maverick 05. I'm ready to go lay the smack down, it feels like I haven't had a day off in months, wait I haven't, anyways good luck to all the team guys this weekend.

Any of you guys on the surge team try a JRX-s or the FK'05 yet? Care to compare your experience if you tried and/or build both of them.

I'm picking one (not sure which) up this weekend and would like some feedback if possible.

I have my jrxs now for about a week. I ran 9 packs thru it and the car is much faster then my tc3 i ran for 2 years.

There is very low traction on the rug at my home track thiss time of year, but it seems dialed in.

Build wise it went to gether smooth with 2 exceptions. 1 was the shim on the centershaft seemd to put too much pressure on the bearings so i left it out. 2 is the pin holes needed to be reamed ever so slightly to sit flushly.

Please note that i have built 2 of these cars so far (mine and my buddies) Both are dialed in with miminal work.

My buddie just got his JRXS finished and the car sounds great and is very smooth. Only problem he had with assembly was that the batteries were to long. So he just took the shrink rap off.
