Hi,

One of the surge guys (Bob Barry) challenged us on another thread to check out the surge thread so I took him up on it. I have no idea how Bob is associated with Surge, could be the owner for all I know. I have not cycled any Surge cells as yet so I have no idea if they are as good as is advertised on the labels. My point on the other thread was that voltage of the cells sometimes does not corroborate what is seen on the labels. I'm not assigning any blame for this there may well be another reason, poor assembly, position in the pack? ambient temperature differences etc. However I have yet to see a pack live up to the voltage numbers on the labels for all the cells in the pack. And yes I have the data. If you would like to check it out please go to the CDAT website below this message. If anyone has any theories about why the data is not living up to the labels I'm open to anything, however I have already ruled out a few possibilities. I am not sponsored by any cell matcher.

Chris.

Crimson, shoot me an e-mail at [email protected] and let's discuss this. I think I may be able to shed some light on your quest.

BTW, thanks for visiting our forum. You're more than welcome to lurk or post. Besides, we need a little more than just talk about peanut butter and Big Momma.
