Default Gearing suggestions?

Gearing for the 13.5? Running it in sedan no boost. track layout varies tight twists and long straight.. I use to run a LRP X11 and the temperatures were around 150 degrees after 5 minutes. The gear ratio for that motor was around 4.3 should I aim for a higher ratio i.e 4.5??

I'll figure this out tonight but if you could provide a gear ratio "sweet spot" that would be awesome!

Cheers

Edward.

start around a 4.5 add teeth until lap times no longer improve! Watch temps every 2 minutes.

Default 13.5 performance

Tried out the 13.5 BOSS motor last night and was pleasantly surprised with its performance. I TQ'd and won the A-main and pulled the fastest lap with a 9.632, the 2nd place drivers fastest lap time was around 10.0 mark. So the final ratio was a 4.3 FDR I might give a 4.2 a try and see what happens.

Thanks again for the rip.

Edward.

For any of you guys with an iPhone check out the tweakboard app http://tweakboardonline.com/ . Its a nice setup "notebook", it has the schumacher Mi4LP, TOP Photon, 12r5.1, TC5, TC6, TRF416, and the XRay T3, along with a generic electric touring car setup sheet. You can put in just about everything in your setup, it also has a built in rollout calculator and fdr graph. It took me a little bit to get used to, especially since they don't have a preset for my CW Rocket, but is pretty easy with a preset car. I believe he is working on an app for the android OS aswell.

Is there any 1s 10.5 motors available? What do they run price wise?

What is the difference between 1s motor and a regular motor. I didn't know there was such until I came across this thread.
