just picked up a boss17.5. can someone give me a base line set up for 212 for a 90x50 track(rc madness enfield,ct). will be running it in january jam this weekend.

gear up 3-4 teeth on the pinion. check temps and go from there

Guys. I had the chance to run one of the new BOSS 17.5 1 cell motors last weekend. These things are beasts. I had to go from a 3.3 fdr to a 3.6fdr due to the extra RPM's this thing spins and it has more pop out of the corner.

17.5 open rubber tire boosted timing turbo and anything else Ican program into it. also ballpark fdr thanks for reply. heard alot of good things about BOSS motors.would like to be close with settings to start with to get max out of the motor

I would start with rpm range 5000ish to 17000ish, .02 delay, 3 ramp, 50 boost and 10 turbo. with a 6.0 fdr. Adjust your turbo to the straight away. Check your temps after 2=3 minutes of running the first time just to be safe.
