Just wanting to see how everyone is doing now that indoor season has hit. Myself, I have been doing pretty good 4 out of 5 tqs and 3 out of 5 wins with my latemodel. I just finished building my new latemodel though, upgrading from a associated B4 to a Custom Works Rocket. I am excited to put it on the track this saturday night! Around here if you don't have a CW rocket your chasing one, luckily I haven't lost too much the them but I decided to join the "fast group" lol.

Just figured I would throw a pic of the new latemodel up here. It hasn't been stickered up yet, I think a big ol BOSS decal would look great on the rear quarters maybe one on the nose to. Don't mine the yellow rear wheels they were for mock up, I have a set of race tires with the hoosier wheel dots to match the fronts lol.

I am not sure about for onroad but I ran 17.5 on the dirt oval with a speed passion gt 2.0lpf with 528 sofware, same as hobbywing, the boost and timing were maxed, drrs at 8, supercharger delay .1, supercharger punch -2 and start rpm at 4000. Also with a 32.48mm rollout to start with, I believe I ended up at 33.83mm. Again this was for dirt oval, so I am not quite sure how much help it will be but good luck.

Just wanna drop in and give props to my man Nate.

This past weekend at the Indoor Champs, Boss Motors had some of the most rip and very smooth power band.

While Larry and I qualified 3rd and 5th in 17.5 SS Touring car, both of us made mistakes costing us shots at the W. Our cars were plenty fast and never once saw temps over 120 degrees.

In 17.5 12th, Larry finished 2nd with a really good shot at the W, but getting wrecked on lap 1 and having to rally back from 10th to finish 2nd, that's a lot to be said in a class where power is such a tough thing to make.

In 13.5 12th, I qualified 6th, but got wrecked on lap 1 as well chunking both rear tires rendering the car basically impossible to drive.

In 17.5 Spec TC, "The Goat" had one of the fastest cars all weekend long. In a class where speedos are "supposed" to be same on power, Goat's car was one of the more powerful off a corner and was good on straights. His racing luck and blowouts didn't help though. LOL. You'll get em next time Goat.

Either way, while the finishing results could have been better, power was not an issue.

Great job Nate. Keep up the good work and good things are coming this winter. Birds is gonna be awesome.

Jason sounds like things went pretty well for you guys out there. Those as great results considering you just came back to on road after racing in the dirt all summer!

Hope to see you at the "Birds"

Default Single Cell Motors

I got the word today on the 1 cell motors that the should be shipping to me around December 15th.

Anyone intrested in getting one please PM ASAP as I will be placing the order by this Friday! There is a limited run being manufactured! We will have 10.5, 13.5, and 17.5. MOD turns are available but I need to get a good showing of hands before I jump into those turns!

These motors are designed to run best in Single Cell LI-PO classes.

The newly designed motor stator's and rotor's allow for better performance with the lower battery voltage and provides smoother power from low to top end speed and provides faster laps longer into your race.
