Looking for suggestions on gearing and motor timing a 21.5t TX motor in an F1. I'll be running blinky on an asphalt track approx. 170' x 65'.
I've also noticed the rotor strength when turning the motor by hand feels a lot stronger than other 21.5s I have. It feels like trying to turn a mod motor. Is this normal for the TX?

Thanks Jerz616! What motor timing do you have on your 21.5t?

Need some help on timing & rollout suggestions for the Orca tx 17.5 for 1/12 blinky. Track size is similar to Vegas

I used the 17.5 TX motors in my buggy and short course truck this weekend at the Spektrum race. I did end up in the A of short course but couldn't pull it off in buggy. I had some top 10 runs but when you tallied up the points I was on the outside looking in. Oh well...I wasn't disappointed in the motors performance at all!

In Nashville I ran mine at 3.72. I felt I had plenty oh speed and the infield still had plenty of rip. I was coming off at 135*. I could have prob added another tooth and been completely happy. I just don't like running my motors past 150* and thought adding more teeth would have got too hot. There were guys running in the 3.4 to 3.5 in Nashville and I didn't feel any slower then them.
