What power package did you use before? 0.6 sec per lap faster is like going from 17.5 to 13.5 on Tamiya track

I had an R1 V15. My fast laps during practice is around 14.8. I was able to do 14.2 consistently. Fast regular guys were on high 13's. I plan to work on the motor next time.

I currently run a different brand of ESC. I ordered and received a Orca B32 this past Friday (2/23/18) I wasn't aware of the shutting off and other issues before I ordered it. I'm wanting some opinions on if I should even try it out or not. Even though Orca's customer service is really great, I really don't want to go through the hassle of sending it in for repairs/replacement.

To be honest it doesn't seem like a widespread issue. I'm waiting on the replacement to do some testing but I imagine it'll come back working fine. I'd still try it. It's an awesome little ESC and the program box is easy to use and handy for temps, voltage and RPM

I'm struggling with rollout on a 12 scale stock running the blitreme 13.5 in blinky. Anyone have a good starting point? I'm currently at 76-80 rollout but the motor comes off quite warm and fades badly towards the end. Temps are at 150-160 at the end of an 8 minute run. The car is super fast for the first few minutes though.

Yes, my B32 works fine.

Has anyone tried the new Blitreme 17.5 in 2wd buggy on carpet/turf? Just picked one of these up today was hoping to find some timing/fdr suggested starting points for a small/med turf track in a yz2..

We have had a couple drivers have early success with 50deg timing 72/25 YZ2. Let us know how it works for you.

Anyone know when ORCA will do the trade-in’s on the older R32 esc?

Ran mine last weekend, for the first time, without any issues. I was given a 4 can capacitor to replace the two can cap in the box.

That's odd. They had given me a single larger cap to replace the original dual cap. Perhaps the single cap was the issue then. Still haven't received any update. The ESC I sent back was delivered this past Monday and no word on a replacement being shipped =/

The 4 can cap is the same one used on their larger r32 ESC.

Welp lets hope they send me one because I'm already out $23 just to ship the ESC to canada and really don't want to buy that cap bank out of my own pocket right now. Good thing is the R1 Super LCG that took the b32's place has been working very well.

Update: They got back to me today and said they are sending a BNIB Orca b32. So sounds like I'll be getting the full kit. I'm wondering if I'll end up with a different cap than the other two I had.

the single capacitor which is similar the the LRPs is my replacement cap as well and since installing it on the b32, it has been running very well and no symptoms whatsoever
