I see EA's 17.5 settings. Would they vary much for 13.5? I tend to use more push brake than the average man.

BPWM 1K
Initial brake 5
Drag brake 3
Neutral width 5%

Hi,

Andrew's settings from the Snowbirds were:

Drag Brake - Off
Initial Brake - Off
Brake Frequency - 1K
PWM - 4K
Punch - 10

Andrew doesn't like to run much brake - so you might need to play around with the settings if you prefer more brake.

At our local track, we have a number of people getting into Mod and I recommend that they use the ESC in blinky mode until they get used to the speed of Mod.

It depends on the backup at the ROAR lab. If there are a ton of motors there (Which I assume there will be since approvals have been closed for 3 months) then it could take several weeks. Add on any thing that needs to be questioned or extra paper work. I would say 4-6 weeks is a safe bet.

Probably not going to get any help from US guys. We dont run 10.5 in any classes but I would start with the same settings as a 13.5 or 17.5. Hardman's setup below from 13.5 at the Birds should be good for you to try as well.

I bought a Orca TX 17.5.

Can anyone tell me spec on the motor? Kv, rotor size?

Then how much onboard timing does it have and how much will the timing advance with each notch? The center notch show 10*?

Ive asked about the timing information from the factory but have not gotten a response yet.

The Rotor is a 12.3mm diameter but is on the weaker side. Ive asked for some higher torque rotors for it as well to test.
