I think they are 5 bucks a piece.
I haven't tried them, but have worked on motors guys put them in.
You will need a light drop of oil each run with them, they do become slightly noisy, but performance looked good.
Avid bearings are really great. All I run in my car. Better than Schelle on my opinion.

So, 1/8x3/8 are the full dimensions of the motor bearings? Also, what do you you recommend for gearing? I run on turf. Medium sized track. My TS1 came at 47° timing

1/8 x 3/8 Bearing 1/8 x 3/8 x 5/32 Ceramic Metal Bearing R2ZZC

At 47* try a 72 or 76 with a 26 or 27 to start.

I'm geared at 28/72 on a small/med sized track (13-15 sec lap times) on astroturf, using TSR The 1 2.0. Most guys using that motor generally gear 27-30/72 for our track with that motor. Hope that helps some.

49* I have never really messed with the timing on either my 1.0 or 2.0 The 1 motors because they come specifically tuned on a motolyser from John so i feel its best not to mess with it but thats just me.

I would also want to see motor temps come off less than 150 or so after a 5-6 minute run.

I might even go down to 27 or 26T

What were the guys running 17.5 rollout and timing in 12th scale? Last motor was around 100 rollout on large track. Forget where timing was set at.

The majority of guys in the stock main ran right around 94mm @ 41*

John Wiita and I ran 100mm @ 36*

Shawn Rayfield had the best setup in the main and he was at that 94mm @ 41*

Matt Lyons and I ran 4.2@50°. 4.25 ran good also . tried running 4.1 and seemed to fall off more in the end but was faster up front.
Matt finished 4th in 17.5 tc

93.5mm at 48 degrees. Too much timing.
