The data sheets only come with "the one" motors

On a smaller track with a clean driver (.2 error factor ) (meaning from fast lap to top 20 lap difference ) we ran as much as 48 but I feel 46 would be safe . With a gearing between 3.9-4.0

The two tracks I'm helping people out at is where I need some assistance with your motors...one is for USGT on a smaller black carpet track. Both XRAY T4s running 96/51. What would be a good starting timing point for them. Adjusting timing and gearing from there what temps should we look for with WTF fans directly on the motors?

The second track is 2wd Offroad Buggy on HIGH grip astroturf. Both 17.5 motors running on in an AE B6 and the other an XRAY XB2. Gearing for both is either 69/30 & 72/33. What would be a good timing start point to work from. Also with adjusting timing and gearing what temps should we look for with WTF fans directly on the motors?

Thanks a ton and keep up the great work on giving us other motor brand guys something to fight against.

Like others have said, 46* on the USGT with a 3.9 to 4.0 to start is safe.
Motor temps may be as high as 150's depending on traction. Usually we see 130 to 140*F

For 2wd buggy 55* is a good starting point. Some guys like to go up to 60*, but down lower and a few pinions higher seem to run cooler. We see temps below 120*F.

Correct, with fans.

Don't be too stuck on temps.

I like looking at fade, look at top 5 vs. the last few clean laps.
You should see .2 drop off max. Sometimes temps are higher or there may be times it's lower

Don't forget to look for hot lap top... Cause if your 0.5/S off your doing something else wrong

Need some r.o. advice for the latest 13.5 "The 1" in 1/12th scale on black carpet. Also, timing suggestions or run as delivered? Thank you ahead of time. Chris S.

Got to run my 17.5 last night for the first time. Very impressed with this motor. I didn't play with the timing, just gearing. It's in a 2wd off road car, but I was able to tq out of 35 in a very competitive field and my hero lap was .3 of a second faster. Didn't even leave the track before I ordered another one for my truck. Now if only you guys sold lihv lipos......

Some at stock wars, 110 x 50 black carpet, were at 38 degrees and 4.1 in touring car. I'm guessing for Victora BC, which is 96 x 48, it will be 38-40 and 4.2 - 4.3.

Hey guys. I am ordering new motors from Team Scream, and would appreciate some advice.
What is the difference between "the one" and the normal version of TSR motors? I am running 17.5 TC and 21.5 USGT
Thanks in advance.

Honnesly for most your unable to feel the difference .
Some just want that piece of mind of knowing they have a better motor (top 10% performance) but I've ran both and ran same lap times...
So unless your just wanting bragging rights or your Matt Lyons, Eric Anderson, Mike Gee you will not know the difference. Who wants to spend the a extra $55 and still get beat by the same guys ?
I ran my usgt car in 17.5TC yesterday with the 21.5 (only changed tires and body) and qualified 3rd in a field of 16 cars . And several had TSR "the one" motors and they came asking what gearing I was running ... Not knowing I was running a 21.5... Your drive line makes or brakes a fast motor
