hmmmm...wonder if i should hop back on my team scream bandwagon. i've been off for quite a while. miss running an all black motor

John and Wayne, nice meeting up with you guys again this past weekend - thanks for the motor and the gearing/timing advice too. Looking very forward to racing with it!

The V3 line of motors like a bit more timing.
In VTA I ran 50* at a 5.0 FDR on a 88x40 technical track.
Maybe start with that, it's a slightly smaller track, but much more flowing.
For 12th 17.5 I would try 50* and a 84mm to start.

Make sure you check the balance and weights of your cars.
The VTA motor is over 25g lighter!

What's the status of ROAR approval for the V3 motors?
I have 1-25.5, 1-21.5 and 2-17.5s. Hoping to run them at the ROAR Nationals.

17.5T and 13.5T are on the Approved list. 13.5T passed and the 25.5T is going through inspection now.

Can't wait to try my 17.5T in 1/12 coming from a paperweight Monster Max and 25.5T in VTA.

Back from the February Freeze at Bumps and Jumps, the largest foam tire Dirt Oval race of the year, and proud to say I brought my Team Scream powered Mod Sprint home in 4th place in the A-Main against the best foam Dirt Oval drivers in the Country. No shortage of power from either the motor or battery, that's for sure! Now if we can get a Ver. 3.0 in Mod winds.............

~134g! Holy hell that is light. I thought my Trinity X-factor 25.5 was light at ~143g, too bad the motor was unimpressive. Hoping the 3.0 is the real deal.

I saw the 25.5 in a vta a couple of times. Looked great. I know someone else trying it in a f1 this weekend. Iím sure it will be good.
