71.5ish....43 degrees. About 50-55 foot straight (we hit low 8 seconds). 76t pinion, 41 tooth spur. Tires about 42.5. Performs beautifully.

Actually does scream on the straight 👍👍.

I run on a similar size track. I reduced the timing to 38* and got great results with 43/72 gears. Finished better than when using 43* timing.

Default 13.5 SCT

Anybody have input on how the TSR does in a 13.5 blinky short course truck? If it is anything like the 17.5 I have in my 2wd buggy I will be buying one soon! I am the only 17.5 buggy that can consistently clear a triple at our track.

What are the recommended max charge rates of your lipos? Currently I am charging both my 1s 7000, and my 2s 8200 at 15a. Can I go higher on either?

I go 20A charge and discharge with my 1s pack.

With the 2s pack I go 30A charge and discharge.
I tried higher but saw no improvement, just deteriorated the battery faster.

On my icharger I have it set to 3.7v cut off and the setting for end discharge current at 100% not the default 50%

sg1,
Great that you posted this; but, I have questions...
- Never tried the 100% discharge current setting. What did that do for you?
- Isn't 3.5V per cell the normal default cutoff? Why would you go higher? Save time?
Many thanks. And same for all your great advice in the past.
Bill

Using an iCharger 406, I use a 20A charge rate for my current 1s/2s packs. However, all my batteries are packs having 80-100c ratings. Personally would not charge packs with significantly lower c-ratings at the higher amperages.

The 100% generated a bit more heat and dropped the IR
At 3.7 and 100% the discharge will overshoot 3.7 so when the current is removed it rebounds up to the number you set it to.

Default TSR 3.0

The TSR 3.0 line is here!!!New Can has larger vent holes for cooling and 16 motor mounting holes to fine tune your motor position in anything you run. New sensor design now allows only two screws for your timing adjustment.New thicker low IR solder ring and solder tabs have been added to the 3.0 for better current flow. The all new stator design provides tons of bottom end but still retains the top end and low IR previous versions were know for.Stainless steel screw kit will also be available for the TSR 3.0Motors have been submitted to ROAR and Back Orders on the website will be open this week.POWER IS EVERYTHING!!!
