When will the standard stock class 2.0 motors be available? I don't think I need "THE 1"

The word is... there are plans of it... but the motors that have been coming in all qualified as "The1" versions... lol...

It's a bad problem to have...lol...

The stators were all within .1r and the sensor boards below 1* dev. and rotor asym. below 2

John is just waiting on stuff not so good...lol

And here we have it folks. There is no reason for ANY MOTOR to be "The1" and cost twice as much if you have even close to acceptable quality control. EVERY MOTOR can and should be "The1" or "5% Certified" or "Certified Plus" or "Definitely Faster Than The Standard Motor That Costs $80 Less But Still Legal" instead of counting on poor quality control to produce the sweet motors and the plebs motors.

And from what I was told the tsr2.0 has set the bar on ir and holds the benchmark for yrs to come with the roar guidelines

Interesting...I have a version the 1 with 18.3/18.4s...was hoping The version 2.0 the 1 ..would be under the 18.0. I have seen motors in the 17.6/17.8s..
I may have to buy the newer version
With all the top motor manufacturers releasing there new power plants..just want to make a good decision

Trust me, this will never happen again.

The can is the same, no visual markings.

If you look inside the can (pinion side) you'll see the internal heatsink and some black epoxy.

It is shown on the ROAR website now:

SPEC 17.5-Team Scream Racing-17.5 2.0-TSR11751-07/31/2017

For everyone talking about resistance, keep in mind that TSR measures their motors at 70F to 72F, which is below what ROAR uses (25C). That means the TSR numbers will be about 1.3% lower than the same motor measured to ROAR standards. It's not much, but it is different. A 17.9 reading by TSR would be 18.13 by ROAR.

P.S. ROAR also uses terminal resistance. Divide by two to get the approximate individual coil resistance.

By roars measurements (25c) the tsr 2.0 is 17.79 and has the lowest submitted ir .
