Hello I'm running outdoor touring and I'm ready to purchase 17.5 for blinky. So which is better for more rip?

High RPM rotors and gear low or High torque rotor and gear , thanks in advance

That's what I was thinking/hoping. Ordered a 12.5 HT rotor to put in the stock Revtech that I had in it. That one's gonna go in my 22T until I get the extra scratch to get an ION4 for it, too.

Standard rotor seems very good i will be testing the high torque rotor saturday but think the broad power band will be the way to go what size track are you running on?

Most tracks in the Florida's series run about 100x50 with a mix of free flowing and technical layouts

I thought you could buy the ION 4 and choose your rotor, but now it seems you can only order an additional rotor unless you get the works edition. Did this change or was I seeing things?

When I ordered mine a week ago you could get any rotor in it.

Seems that's no longer the case. Too bad, that was excellent value that really distinguished Fantom from their competitors.

I can only suggest calling them up directly and getting the scoop. Jeff is always super helpful over the phone. And I agree... the "rotor of choice" was a HUGE selling point for the fantom motors. I had a lot of people pretty excited about it at my local track. It's possible the promotion ended early due to inventory..or its possible there is a website goof? Without talking to Jeff, we can only speculate.

On another note, I finally got my hands on my pair of Fantom 6500mah 65c lipos, and they are blisteringly good. Best lipos I have ever used, by a noticeable margin.

Default ION4

Warren and I both ran ION4s this weekend at the Independence Day Cash Race @ Jackson R/C, and they were ballistic. Put both our cars in the show solidly.

Besides the obvious power they had what most impressed me was the temperature the motors came off: they ran a good 30 less than the previous motors I ran and this in 90 + temps in NJ.

Very happy customer here.
