I am in the market for some new batteries for my 12th and am super impressed with the KillerVoltz 6000mah/60C 2S that I run in my blinky TC.
Actually they are 6350/65c packs and they should be back in stock next week. I hope.

But ...... I have received several new 5600/50c packs and I am VERY IMPRESSED with the voltage of these. I went this way based on what Jeff told me and it looks to be good.

I'll cycle a 6350 and see how it stacks up to the 5600.

the fantom 6500 65c is the best lipo out there, the orion is not even close to there claim of 90c

I have recently become a huge fan of Fantom products. I am currently running their 17.5 motors in my local and regional races, and nobody can touch the punch and speed of my car on the track. I am runing the apex, with the 12.5 BP rotor, and have found the perfect sweet spot in gearing and endbell timiing. Everybody has been coming up to me inquiring about my power plant set up... I'm torn between spreading the word about how awesome fantom products are, and keeping the speed secret safe But there is no hiding the awesome looking bright blue and gold motor can hanging out the back of my car

Keep up the good work!

But from Fantom, you can order with the rotor, and bearings of your choice, as well as a variety of dyno tests

you can buy the basic motor for 84.95 with whatever rotor you would like, dont have to fully option it out, so if you wanted a different rotor it would end up being cheaper then buying regular d3.5 and then optional rotor separatley

No, it's not. It's the same basic price as the standard D3.5, unless you opt for all the bells and whistles, which you can't get from a box stock motor. You don't NEED to pay for all the dyno testing or the upgraded ceramic bearings... but at least you have the option if you happen to be the guy that wants that last bit of an edge.

One great new thing Fantom is doing right now, is letting you pick the exact rotor you want your motor built with right out of the box, without having to buy an exra one. For example, in stock SC, a 12.5 HT rotor is pretty much a must have at my track. If you were to buy this motor anywhere else, it would cost you the motor AND an extra rotor totaling $120 or so. But with Fantom, I just had the motor built with my rotor of choice, and it cost me 80 something. On top of THAT, I got free shipping because I ordered two motors. (there is a price point that earns you free shipping). Pretty hard to beat.

My Fantom tuned motors are noticeably faster than the out-of-the-box motors that other guys are running at my track. My run from this last Saturday at my local track had quite a few heads turning, and there was a lot of curiosity on what I was running, and how I was running it. Take a look here... this is a mod short course race from this last Saturday. I didn't run a mod motor though, I ran my brand new ION4 17.5...

I just ordered an Ion 4 17.5 to run blinky in my 22. I'm really looking forward to trying it out. Went with the 12.5 broad powerband rotor.
