Hi! Im thinking of getting the new Apex 13.5 motor to match it up with my Fantom 65c lipos on a TC6 set-up. Anybody knows the kv rating of the new Apex motors versus the Ion3's? Appreciate your help on this.

OK, this weekend was NOT good to me. BOTH of my battery packs that I use for 17.5 Blinky in RCGT and Touring Car puffed after the main (but at least they held out that long), and I came in LAST place .

So, I'm confused....which pack would work best in 17.5 blinky touring car, the 28C or the 60C?

Just ordered an apex 17.5 for the blinky class . Putting it in my sc10 any idea were to start for gearing very large track low traction longest straight is probably 75ft. The tempature around here ranges between 70 and 80 degrees on the weekends.

I've heard mixed feelings about the C ratings on these batteries (i'm assuming your talking about the fantom orange case batteries). Most people here that are posting, seem to like the 28c for 17.5 stock racing. I've never tried myself, but I'm pretty sure you'll be happy with either.

I guess the low C batteries weren't very popular, they've just dumped a bunch of them for bargain prices! Not even listing the 1S battery anymore. I hear word that they're going to move up to the bigger batteries, too, as soon as they're available.

Checked out the website, and your right! They're gone Leaves us no choice but to get the 60c or wait out for the 65c?

Is Fantom coming out with some 6500mah/65C 1S Lipos?

I am in the market for some new batteries for my 12th and am super impressed with the KillerVoltz 6000mah/60C 2S that I run in my blinky TC.

Looks like Fantom is dropping the D3 based Ion3 line, too? That sucks, awesome budget motors.
