I just ran my Ion3 13.5 and 65c 1s packs Saturday for the first time. Once again great products and picked up a few tenths per lap over my previous Ion 13.5 and 50c combo. Now I just need to order a few more Ion3 motors.

try this it was ballistic and it only came off at 140 degrees and was way faster than the ion 2,just make sure you check temps

Boost: 50
Turbo 10
Delay .15
Ramp 2.0
Throttle profile 3
Brake 100%
Drag brake Zero
Push 20, i went all the way to 50 and the car would corner a lot better
FDR 6.59
start 4000
end 12000
motor timing full on endbell

I am curious what your motor timing is set at...also, are you gearing up or down a little from the Ion2?

I guess I should re-introduce myself here....

The Track Star Team have been using Fantom power since we opened over a year ago and I personally have been running Fantom's equipment since 1991.

We run 1/10 off road, on road and 1/12 on road. 17.5 - mod and use, abuse and win with Fantom on a weekly basis.

For anyone that is looking for the best motors, batteries and equipment Fantom is the answer.

Any and all questions can be answered at [email protected] or you may PM me here.

Track Star R/C Racers Services is the home of Fantom 540 powered 4X4 SC trucks that dominate.

Hello,

I am going to order some 1s Li-po's and a new Mod motor for 1/12th.
What wind and rotor would you suggest I buy? (the most power )

Thanks and have a nice evening.

A Ion3 4.5 would be great! Try a RPM 12.3 rotor if possible.

Wow I was looking for this thread for a long time.. The website is taking forever to update... And if I would have looked here I would have the right motor I bought the Ion 2 a week or two before the new Ion 3 came out... But my motor is hauling butt! Tires were lifting on my t4 at the end of straights, plenty of power for the whole track and awesome motor temperature. I'll be ghosting this thread a bit, hopefully once I can get my t4 to the tops of the podiums I can work my way onto the team, and with my new motor I have plenty of drivers watching my practice-laps... I just wish I had some Fantom decals...

Running a 7.5 Ion 2 with my 5400 25c Lipos, my spur/pinion is 87/19 for a fdr 11.905 and it is starting to click real well! I'm loving my Fantom products

Sorry for double post but, are any of you Fantom guys (or girls) racing out here by West Coast rc Raceway (been doing laps on the 2011 reedy race track and its freaking great), Pegasus Hobbies, or Revelations?? Would be nice to have another driver nearby

Oh no, I killed the thread with my double post
