Just for my own info...what is the "acceptable" IR range these days?? And is it worth thinking about the IR depending on what type of racing you do?? Not even a year ago, us touring folks were trying to get low IR's with high voltage and good runtime. Jeez...not even a year and I'm already feeling old and outclassed !!

Usually AIR in the 2's is good. These new cells have alot more punch to me than any of the other ones in the past, and yes you do want low ir especially in stock. You are thinking the right way, but voltage is so good these days it is not as much of an issue. They usually get alot higher than the voltage on the labels anyway.

So if we'd like to get low IR batts, can we ask for them or are all the higher voltage units likely to have the same IR range?? How much variance is there in the available high voltage ( 1.17 or better) packs?? Thanks

All the IR's will be good. You don't need to worry about it, you will not be disappointed.

PMRGirl, great talking with you again. Don't worry, the wife is cool with it. You guys must be so busy, that's a good sign.

A lot of overdrivedgn's posts have been smilies hehe.

Btw, the new stickers are sweet. Much easier finding places for them

Neil, are you gonna practice at Tamiya this weekend? If so, my brother can have someone to dice with. If not, he'll run sedan with the other guys. I plan on running mod only (I say that now, but you know how things get...everybody starts getting racey and then you switch motors to what they run and throwdown).

I might be there, wife dependent. It's my mom's b-day so we have to take her out somewhere. I'll call you and let you know.
