on the website for Pro-match batteries, it say 390+ secs for all of the packs. does the buyer get any say in what runtime value the pack has, or could you end up getting a pack with 395 secs and be no good for modified, im not complaining, just wondering.

The first packs I bought from PMR were for modified racing. When I called the number on the website to ask the same kind of questions you are asking I was beaten to the punch by the lovely lady who answered the phone, known here as PMRGirl!! She asked me what type of car I was using them, in what type of racing I do, what motors I run etc. etc. She really knows her stuff. The packs that were sent out were top-notch and after a 5 min. race with either a Kr or a Ti 10 turn, I was still discharging for over a minute at 30 amps with a 5.40 cutoff.

In short, let them know what you're after and they will do their best to make you happy. If they don't have what you're after at the time they will let you know.

I recently bought four packs of GP3300s from ProMatch. I was able to request a combination of high run time and high voltage on my order form and I got what I asked for -- 410+ secs and as high as 1.179 on the cells. I'm a happy, repeat customer.

Well,I got my new pro-match battery packs in today and the freebie assembly looks great. They cover the cells in clear shrink, shoe goo them together(something I don't do anymore) and then solder the bars on using the fancy induction heating whatever machine.....no signs of overheating at all.Personally,I think them people at Pro-Match have gone crazy for giving this service away FREE of charge.
