Do you have any recommendations for chargers? Thanks.
Psst Bill sell the Quasar. Trust me. Get a CE Turbo 35.

Yeah it sounds like voltage threshold settings; but as everyone stated above I would get a CE Turbo 35 GFX. The best charger you can get. I have never had trouble out of mine.

Was originally going in the direction of a GFX...But, I was thinking about cutting down on all the stuff going with me to the track. Gonna need a bus soon. OK, sticking with the GFX. Thanks.

XXXS-Bill: Contact Jim @ Competition Elec. about the power supply they will be selling soon. It is very small and reliable. If it will be a while then PM me and I will give you another option.

Today chargers are packed with Microprocessors and noise sensitive components. So, good power supply is a must for today chargers.

I picked an Alinco Power Supply, it small size 32A Max its under 5 lbs. You can find them right around $150-160.

SPEC: On the Power Supply

The one CE will be selling is niiicee. I use it now to power 2 GFX's my lathe(12voltmotor=80x1 by Banzai Motorsports) with plenty of power to spare. If it's good enough for CE to sell it is good enough for me. I will try and post a pic of it later. It also has thermal protection and a built in fan thermally controlled.

Cool promatchrcr - I didn't know CE was coming out with a power supply. How's everything going, we haven't talked in a while. I'm heading to southern california saturday to do some racing. It will be nice, cant wait for some fun in the sun.

Speaking of good power. I just picked up a Honda 2000 generator to handle my parking lot racing, is this a good source to hook up to? I had a ac/dc converter that I picked up from Costco, but I heard these things are dangerous and the one I have seams underpowered any way. Hope I made the right jump.

The Costco item is a Coleman inverter that I plug in to my cigarette lighter and gives me 2 outlets.
