highwayman,
It is my understanding that with the GP cells that running them as soon as they have peaked is the optimal thing to do. The ideal temp of a pack coming off a charge is in the 140 degree range. Some people were asking about repeaking if their timing of the charge is off. I personally do not like to repeak...If my timing is a little off I will keep the packs in the box or my cool Pro-Match battery storage container (shameless plug) to keep warm before I run them (5 - 10 minutes max.) My thinking is that if I continually repeak batteries it will affect them adversely...run time will drop and battery life will be decreased. These cells seem to perform best when warm, so keeping them warm after a charge should be the thing to do. It really is the lesser of two evils...but that's what I have been told to do by people more knowledgable than myself.

I don't store the batteries with full charge in them...they are always dropped to 5.40 before being put away for the week and they are stored at room temp. If they are going to stored for longer than a week I will put a partial charge into the pack and store at room temp. I just try to keep the heat from the charge in the pack if my timing is slightly off before using them...hope that answers your concern.

Hey, this question probly has been asked b4 but i just wanted to make sure.

what Mv/C should you have it set on.

i want to take care of my new promatched 1.165+ packs because they are my first matched ones and i dont want them to get stuffed up.

and also are the red and green 3300GP's the old ones or new ones, cause on these packs i got they have 430+ runtime and arnt the new ones spose to have alot of runtime like this pack?.

Thanks

If you use a Turbo 35 GFX you can use .04 to .05 cutoff. The red/green rainbow colored cells are the older ones. The runtime can vary but that type of runtime is not as common as of lately. That's not to say the next batch won't be.

PMB's, put another race cycle on my packs this weekend and I'd like to say I'm very pleased with my purchase, still peaking at low voltage, capacity is dead-on and very, very punchy even after taking a few practice runs!

One Happy customer,

R. Owens
