Whats the difference between IB and GP cells? I have 'heard' around the track that these IB cells go flat after several runs?? Are these people just crazy?

Alright, so Im almost ready to pull the trigger on some batteries... I have been hearing and reading about bad vs good of matching these cells at 35 vs 30 amps. I know promatch knows their stuff... I hear EVERYwhere that if the IB's arent matched with a 35amp discharge, that you cant pick out a bad cell.... I have heard this from factory drivers as well.... wondering what Promatch says about this?

I honestly don't know...sounds like BS to me since I know guys with 35 amp matched packs that blow cells too. I have lost only a couple of cells out of probably 20 or so packs. You can always call Jeff and talk to him about it 1-928-855-2226 He will answer any questions we can't answer here. Keep in mind also that if you charge and treat them bad enough it doesn't matter how they were matched....they will fail eventually with abuse.

Also Erika will be out for a week or so at least.

Hey guys just to let you know the 11th annual Tumbleweed Classic will be held on Sep 8-10th at ARCOR Raceway in sunny New Mexico. ARCOR was the home of the 04 mod nats so those of you who made it to the 04 nats know what kind of traction we have. For those of you who don't know we have big time wheelie popping traction. I encourage all who can attend to make the trip out.
Travis
I check the forums regular so if you have questions ask away or shoot me a pm.

Doh, just noticed that Promatch is in AZ.. Id pay about 50% of a new pack in tax alone.

Glad you are happy! The shrink should not affect performance but you can always call and ask that it be swapped out.
