yup... but more like 8 1/2 mins, 'cause we stopped and checked the motor, it was pretty overheated by then, but the pack still had juice in it to last more than 30secs more...

punch was awesome for the 1st min, but it did fade as you played, as i mentioned, it was like 120% 1st min to about 95% 5 mins, then 90 % 6mins, 80%power onwards...

Another great showing for Promatch racing.

I did very well in racing this weekend in the Jimmy Babcock Race League.
I had two horable qualifires and made the C main.
Here is where things pick up.
I busted out in the C main killing it by more than a lap and a half on the field.
Bumped up to the B main and started dead last of course. I made my way through every single person on the track except the guy who avoided the starting gate carnage. I almost caught up, I made some insane lap times and punch was there from begining to end in both Mains. I unfortuantly came in second in the B so no bump to the A but I won the B overall. Great racing....
Keep up the great work Promatch.
Always nice to enjoy this hobby...LOL

Erika.. lets add more to the good news.. (partially).

two bad qualifiers, but when i got my car working in the main, i won the B-main in the GT2 class with a time that would have put me second to the TQ in the A-main. lapped everyone except 2nd place. two more laps and i would have had him

TQ'ed the GT3 class.. after the first turn carnage and i had a body tuck problem that cost me about 20 seconds. an eternity in a silver can class.

Rod.... Ko is all yours man! i can see you miss racing TCS tho. just like ian.

And why not some more good news. I curb hopped in my two qualifiers and started right next to Hebiki in the GT-2 B-Main. Pro-Match on the front row. Chris got a great start and dissapeared while the 3rd starting car spun me exiting the first turn sweeper. Had a great run from 10th after the first lap back up to 2nd at the end. We can just let Chris think he would have got me in two more laps !

This was my first time running Pro-Match and they worked great. Thanks again Erika for your help. Your service and products are awesome. You will be hearing from me again for sure.

Yep, Chris, Kevin and George all had major punch. Makes me think I should give you a call, PMR girl... A little more zip might have given me a better finish than second in the A in Mini.
Later

Default Thank You!

Hey Erika and the entire ProMatch team,
Thank you for those awesome packs that powered my F201 to a TCS regional win. I even lent one pack to my friend Dave Beale, a past-TCS F103 National Champ, and they powdered him to qualify 3rd in his second race outing in the F201. Again, Thank you.

The post by John Fontaine made me realize something... Jay was answering questions, etc while they were in the hospital Friday, but since Alyson was born, he has been surprisingly quiet.... Hmmmmmm a little busy now, Jay?

nope they don't fit in my TC3 or HPI-4 . the cells are bigger making a 6-cell pack almost 1/4" longer. My FT aluminum battery brace is also way off, will have to use it upside down and do grinding on both cars.

my 12th cars are unaffected because 2 cells on each side of the t-bar dosen't have the size multiplier affect that 6 do.

after just putting 4 loose in my TCs i can tell 1/10 oval guys would have to do some modding for running 4 cells together

OK... I'm still confused. The SMC website says they use a .05 (50mv) peak detect on thier batteries. If .04 is 24mv, how can .05 be 50mv??
