Good luck with the baby. Did you see that story about the girl being born without a face? Eww, yuck and horrible! I feel for the poor family.

there must be something wrong at promatch. You all heard about my problems with my order. Well the episode continues. I finally received my order, but the 6 cell packs were not assembed at all and the 4 cell packs were put together wrong. So promatch sent me a whole new set of cell. These were again wrong. The 4 cells were done right, but the 6 cells have too long of a lead between the saddle packs. I asked for them to be the length of a battery bar. Called and talked to them on the phone and then sent an email with all the specifications we talked about just to confirm. got a reply confirming what I had sent. And still got them wrong. I also got them 1 day late, I had asked for them for this past weekend. They assured me I would receive them by then. I had to call friday to check on the status and was told, oh yeah, you will get them monday. Also could not get a tracking number or anything. I understand that the length of the wire is not critical, but customer service is and I thought was a concern for promatch.

To add insult to injury, I had receive some of the best packs that I have every seen the first time, though they were not assembled. I asked to get similar pack specs when they assembled them or I would just keep the ones that I got, but instead they sent me less then equal pack. To be honest, I got pack better then I had order the first time, but when they sent the assembled pack they were just within the spec i ordered. So I guess that is not something that I can complain about.

interesting. from your last statement, i'd wonder why you would post what you did if there is nothing to complain about. (although i would have some frustrations if it was wrong the 2nd time and late..........that is something that should be addressed with the man in charge).

i'd think if your still not happy, you should call and speak to jeff roe. even if its not to get your order redone again, he should be made aware of such a problem.

theisgroup:
I am sorry to hear about the troubles with your order. It is not normal for something like that to occur and I will make no excuses for it. I HIGHLY recommend you call today and talk to Jeff about your problems you have experienced. Jeff is very concerned with customer service and quality at Pro Match. He wants his customers to be happy. I have also made a copy of your post and emailed it to him so he is aware of the problem. Again I am sorry and hope you continue to use Pro Match Batteries.

Jay

thanks guys,

I will do that. I understand where jeff is coming from I actually own a customer service company as well. My last comment was more toward the battery spec that I receive in myh second order. Though they were less then par with the first set. They are ultimately the ones that I ordered. (390+, 1.18+) It just would have been nice if I had received comprable product as teh first set. (400+, 1.184+)

I have ordered about two dozen packs over the years from Jeff, and I have never had a problem with assembly or quality, in fact he actually helped me decide a few times which way to configure the pack sinceI was driving new cars. Sorry to hear about the problems you may have experienced, and I am sure he'll take care of it.

Wow I gotta call Jeff and get some of those 1.18+s.....I have raced for Jeff for 6 years now and I know there is not many better people in the industry. Pro-match has a long history of good customer service. It is unforunate that your order was not right. That can be frustrating I know.

Now where is my phone...lol I need some hot stuff like those batts!

Hey guys,

Thanks for all your support. I was not trying to dis promatch or their product. It was more to vent my frustration of the situation. I have a set of promatch packs that I picked up from a fellow racer and loved the quality of the packs so much, I decided that I need to pick up some more. This just happened to be my first time ordering from promatch and was a little frustrated.

I actually had to borrow sets of batteries from a team driver from another matchers the last 2 weekend for my new 1/12th scale.

From what you guys are telling me, I know Jeff will solve my problem. And I think that you guys are great reps from promatch.

Eddie - I didn't know these boards were for venting.

Ok here is mine............ I'm getting the shaft this year. Christmas is on Sat, my off day, so I won't be getting paid for it and New Years. I tried to get her to close Fri but she said no. So I have to be here a half the day. My old boss either would have closed Fri or let us have a day off to make up for the holiday being on a Sat. Guess what? I will be getting the shaft next year too. Christmas in on a Sunday.

Whew, I feel better.
