Default Western Canadian Indoor Championship Series

In the Edmonton leg of this series, the first I have attended this year, Pro Match helped me to place 6th in the Mod TC A Main, 3rd in the A Main 1/10 Pancar Open Motor, and 1st in the B Main in the 19 turn TC class. Thanks again for the power to compete!! Now if only I could stay off the boards just a little more!!

Hi Jay and all,

I just finished reading this whole thread (Whew - it took 3 days). Thanks for all the advice. Laughed at a lot of the comments, esp, Mr. Jolly's. I plan to keep up with the thread from now on.

Discovered carpet racing lately and plan to race in Nashville again (third weekend in a row) this coming weekend. Been fairly successful at it. Makes an OLD guy feel good. I actually like carpet better than asphalt - seems easier on the car and also seems easier to set up the car. Roy Biggens and Mr_Utley are a big help too.

Been using ProMatch batteries since I started racing - never seemed to lack power - except when I forgot to charge them - old guy got excited and forgot what to do next - ha!

Race ya,

Jim

Cottontop - Thats pretty fun. Forgetting to chareg those things. Hey I've done it too. I had an LRP Pulsar and you have to hit the Start button twice. Triple A-mains NORRCA Off-Road nationals, 1st main.....Punch it....went for about......15 feet....nothing in the pack....All I could really do was laugh....it wasnt funny but hey...I couldnt change anything you know....

In regards to my situation on the previous page, I am working with Marge and it looks like everything is going to be resolved.
Can't go wrong with promatch.

Cool! I'm glad things are working out.

Wasssup Eddie!!! How did the race go at Redstick? I haven't raced lately. Trying to take advantage of the good days we have left to play golf. Looks like it's going to be a good Sat so I will be on a course. Trying to get a game up with (( Roy Biggins, Crouching Tiger )) but I think they are scared. Played a round last week with Lucky but this weekend he will be in Atl for flag football playoffs.

Sup Promatchrcr!

Ah, I recieved packs today, I'm happy cause these are my first packs i've ever gotten. There is one bad and good thing. Good thing is I got a pack 1.189 average and the other, 1.182 average, next time i'll request to get both good packs, dont get me wrong great packs, but next time i'll request it so I can get both even packs. Thanks promatch for the batteries, Alot better than my SMC stick packs!

this is not good, I think the Promatch Batteries screwed up my ESC, its a F1 Pro Reverse by LRP Retail is like 120. OMG... I cant press the throttle for 15 seconds then the car shuts off.. Neither the car or battery is hot or the esc, no sparks flew, the funny thing is that the battery is still charged..

there is no possible way your batteries could have screwed up your ESC. maybe YOU plugged it in wrong? if you did, you just blew up your esc. if you did, thats what we call in the computer industry as "user error". there are other things that could be going wrong... (i.e. your wires are attached wrong, motor is soldered up wrong, esc is not programmed/set right...etc)

remember.. RC IS FUN!

btw... ive never used 1.182 pro match batteries. the highest ive ever gotten were 1.179s (those were great).... so be happy that you got some killer packs. those are usually reserved for their team drivers. if you dont like them ill gladly take them off your hands!
