Pro-match Batteries

I just returned home from the 1/12 and Touring Car Worlds in Orlando. Hideo Kitazawa won the 3rd A main in 1/12 scale using ProMatch batteries. Masami won the first 2 A mains and Hideo broke. But he smoked everyone in the third round including Hara. Remember all the big guys and big teams were there in force and ProMatch won one of the A mains.
Hi Erica!
Desertracer: your amp calculations are a little off. The Promatch Smart Tray has a .75 ohm resistor in series with a diode on each cell. Current at the beginning is about .5 amps. After about 12 hours on the tray, voltage is about .60 per cell. After 24 to 48 hours voltage is about .50 volts per cell. This system removes vertually all the charge in the pack but does not take the voltage down to far. At the Worlds, I would estimate 75% or more racers were using Smart Trays or trays that worked exactly the same. I was there for 7 days and saw a lot.
That's my update.

TexRacer,
I checked the Integy manual for the 16x3-Prov 2.5, well if you can call it a manual, and it states on the VESC Repeak mode which I use almost exclusivly, that the charger looks for a 70mV drop within a 15min charge or 50mV, 30 mV and 10mV as the charge time increases. so it does not have the traditional "xmV" peak detect.
I am looking at getting the Integy 16x5x6 charger, Pitbull X3, Yokomo BCS-S, LRP Pulsar Comp 1 or 2
I was looking for a dual purpose charger, motor break-in machine but probably go for the best bang for the buck of this range charger and go from there. I do want to replace the approx 16A bulb discharger I have so the Integy is looking sweet.

Helllooooooooooo fellow promatchers
Just had a good result doing carpetwars ,138 drivers entered this meeting 80 of them were stock(27t) ended up 2nd in the A-main, i thought that was good going for a old boy
Everthing performed well with all the products that i use & they gave me the power to be in the A in the first place
Keep up the good work boys

Congrats Jolly. EA motors and Promatch battteries are a good combo.

I guess cause no one asked any questions. I try to keep it on the first page. If you think this is bad, go the the Alabama racing forums if you haven't already.

I am also looking at getting the Integy 16x5x6 charger.
TexRacer,
Do you know if the 16x5x6 charger has more adjustability for the threshold than the other Integy models you listed a few posts up. Right now I am between the LRP Comp 2 and the Integy 16x5x6. Your advice is much appreciated.
